What You Need to Know About Turnitin and Paper Submission
First and foremost - if something is due on Turnitin, it cannot be submitted late. The due date and time is listed on Turnitin, and I generally make things due the day of class, by 5:59. This is for those of you who like to live life on the edge and submit work when you arrive on campus. I strongly suggest you do not depend on this, but instead submit your work early enough in the day so that if there should be technical issues, you can resolve them prior to 5:59 on the day of class. Think the internet has never gone down on campus?
Due to the fact that we are on a calendar of only 8 weeks, I cannot accept late work. If I am to be able to have work back to you in a timely fashion, I need to receive it in a timely fashion. No late work is okay. Verifiable hospital stays, funerals, etc. are the only life events that I will consider. If you are going to have to miss class due to a work-related issue, you will know that far enough in advance to make arrangements to have your work completed.
No excuses of a technological nature are acceptable either. We live in a constantly connected world of Twitter, Facebook, and Vine - if you can watch TV via the internet, you can get your paper uploaded on time.

Grades vs. Feedback
Please be aware that you will receive grades on the Columbia College website only; you will receive feedback on the paper itself on the Turnitin.com website.
